We Believe That A Well-Informed Patient Is Key To Successful Vision Correction Surgery.

A GUIDE TO LASER VISION CORRECTION
Dr. Robert Maloney believes that a well-informed patient is key to successful vision correction surgery. He wants to be sure that you fully understand what you can expect from your procedure you choose. He wants to help you care for and preserve your eyesight in the best way possible. Here, you can find the information that you need to help you make informed choices about health care for your eyes.
AFTER YOUR LASIK PROCEDURE
Within hours of your surgery, constantly regenerating cells will already be growing over the edge of the corneal flap, helping to "glue" it down. This process takes a few days. Over the next several months, the internal healing process will totally seal the flap.
In the interim, however, it's important that you do all you can to make the surgery a success. The moment you leave the LASIK center, you are encouraged to take an active role in your body's healing process by following a specific regimen prescribed by your eye doctor.
